The Cox Mill Chargers edged the visiting Watauga Pioneers soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Chargers face the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A game, on Tuesday, September 24. Cox Mill will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 10-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC).
The Pioneers (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Mount Tabor held off Davie (Mocksville, NC), 5-0, in a league game.
