In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Kirtland Hornets soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves.

The Hornets (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Crestwood (Mantua, OH). The Red Devils go into the Chagrin Valley - Valley outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Crestwood got by Firestone (Akron, OH), 9-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Red Wolves play the Fairview Warriors (Fairview Park, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Metro outing, on Tuesday, September 24. Cuyahoga Heights will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
