In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Freeport Pretzels soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 win over the Winnebago Indians.
The Pretzels (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Golden Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Sterling was overwhelmed by Galesburg (Galesburg, IL), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Indians confront the Byron Tigers (Byron, IL) in a Big Northern outing, on Monday, September 23. Winnebago will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 3-8 record after their 5-5 league North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL).
