Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) and the host Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), saw Shikellamy's soccer squad hold off Jersey Shore by a count of 2-1.

The Braves (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA). The Seals enter the PIAA District IV-AAA battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Selinsgrove was edged by Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Mifflinburg Wildcats (Mifflinburg, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 21. Jersey Shore will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 0-9 record after their 8-1 league loss to Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA).
