In Thursday's non-league outing, the host LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Princeton Tigers.
The Cavaliers (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Rochelle (Rochelle, IL). The Hubs enter the Interstate Eight outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Rochelle tipped Morris (Morris, IL), 6-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 20. Princeton will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Bobcats enter the outing with a 7-2 record after their 8-1 league win over Earlville (Earlville, IL).
