The Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO) softball the visiting Lindbergh Flyers (St. Louis, MO), 8-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. Marquette will encounter a Lions team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Windsor (Imperial, MO). The Lions record now stands at 19-4.
With the loss, Lindbergh moves to 7-6 on the season. The Flyers travel to Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO) to encounter the Statesmen in a Class 4 District 2 outing on Friday, September 20. The Statesmen come into the outing with a record of 5-9.
