In Thursday's non-league test, the Maysville Warriors (Maysville, OK) softball squad got by the visiting Vanoss Wolves (Ada, OK), by a tally of 5-4.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Macomb Hornets (Macomb, OK) in a Class A test, on Monday, September 23. Maysville will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 21-9 record after their 7-1 league loss to Stonewall (Stonewall, OK).
The Wolves (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Varnum (Seminole, OK). The Whippets go into the non-league test with a 4-18 record. In their last test, Varnum was nudged by Weleetka (Weleetka, OK), 18-3, in a non-league test.
