The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) and the visiting Morris Eagles (Morris, OK), observed Preston's softball team notch a victory over Morris by a final score of 13-1.

The Pirates (27-3) will now prepare for their bout against Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK). The Bruins go into the non-league bout with a 20-9 record. In their last bout, Bartlesville gained a win over Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK), 13-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Porum Panthers (Porum, OK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 19. Morris will attempt to better on its 2-22 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 18-9 record after their 13-5 league win over Keota (Keota, OK).
