Colorado High School Softball - Smoky Hill bounces Mullen

September 19, 2024: Aurora, CO 80015

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO) and the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), observed Smoky Hill's softball team prevail over Mullen by a tally of 17-6.

The Buffaloes (3-12) will now prepare for their bout against Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO). The Bruins go into the 5A/4A Centennial outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Cherry Creek was routed by Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO), 13-1, in a league outing.

With the loss, Mullen moves to 4-10 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO) to encounter the Bison in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. The Bison come into the outing with a record of 9-4. Vista PEAK Prep won 11-1 in their recent league outing against Denver North (Denver, CO)
