Southmoore SaberCats (Moore, OK) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Red Oak Eagles (Red Oak, OK), 7-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Southmoore upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The SaberCats host Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK) to play the Longhorns in a non-league game on Thursday, September 19. The Longhorns enter the game with a record of 25-3. Lone Grove won 11-0 in their recent league game against Dickson (Ardmore, OK)
The Eagles now own a 16-14 record. They play next when they host Stigler for a non-league game on Monday, September 23. Red Oak will play a Panthers squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Muldrow (Muldrow, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 18-6.
