In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Mt. Carmel Sundevils.

The Pilots (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Pointers enter the City - Western challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Point Loma beat Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sundevils meet the Fallbrook Warriors (Fallbrook, CA) in a Palomar challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record.
