In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Bell Griffins volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ballou Knights.
The Griffins (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Quakers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Sidwell Friends beat Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights meet the School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Ballou will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Penguins come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC).
