California High School Volleyball - Bonita Vista over Mira Mesa

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Bonita Vista Barons volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Mira Mesa Marauders.

The Barons (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA). The Mustangs enter the Metro Mesa challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Otay Ranch was beaten by Westview (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Marauders meet the Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Mira Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Islanders enter the challenge with a 23-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Point Loma (San Diego, CA).
