Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) and the visiting Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA), observed Burroughs's volleyball team top Hoover by a count of 3-0.

The Bears (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Glendale (Glendale, CA). The Nitros enter the Pacific contest with a 20-2 record. In their last contest, Glendale was knocked off by Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Tornados battle the Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA) in a Pacific contest, on Thursday, September 26. Hoover will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record.
