In Thursday's league challenge, the host Washburn Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Center-Stanton Wildcats.
The Cardinals (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Standing Rock (Fort Yates, ND). The Warriors come into the B - Region 5 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Standing Rock lost by New England (New England, ND), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Kindred Vikings (Kindred, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Center-Stanton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northern Cass (Hunter, ND).
