Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks (Belle Isle, FL) and the visiting Orlando Science Orcas (Orlando, FL), observed Cornerstone Charter Academy's volleyball team top Orlando Science by a tally of 3-0.

The Ducks (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against International Community (Winter Park, FL). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, International Community was beaten by Circle Christian (Winter Park, FL), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Orcas meet the Lake Mary Prep Griffins (Lake Mary, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 23. Orlando Science will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Griffins enter the contest with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Geneva (Casselberry, FL).
