The East Providence Townies volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts to 0 in the Townies league triumph on Thursday.

The Townies now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they host North Kingstown for a Division 1 outing on Monday, September 23. East Providence will play a Skippers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Classical (Providence, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Cranston East drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to play the Skippers in a Division 1 outing on Wednesday, September 25. The Skippers come into the outing with a record of 6-0.
