The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Welsh (Welsh, LA). The Greyhounds enter the Division IV District 3 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Welsh notched a victory over Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 20. Opelousas will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA).
