Southside Panthers (Gadsden, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Donoho Falcons (Anniston, AL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southside improves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL) to face the Huskies in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 10-4. Hewitt-Trussville won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Grissom (Huntsville, AL)

The Falcons now own a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westbrook Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Donoho will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 18-3.
