North Carolina High School Volleyball - Draughn over Mountain Heritage

The Draughn Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Mountain Heritage Cougars to 1 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Patton for a non-league outing on Monday, September 23. Draughn will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Mountain Heritage drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league outing on Monday, September 23. The Mountaineers come into the outing with a record of 8-7. Tuscola lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Franklin (Franklin, NC)
