In Thursday's non-league match, the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) volleyball squad overcame the host Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban match, on Tuesday, September 24. Homewood-Flossmoor will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record.
