In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Prairie View Buffalos.

The Jayhawks (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, KS). The Blu-Jays come into the Three Rivers challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Pleasanton was nudged by Hesston (Hesston, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Buffalos meet the Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS) in a Pioneer challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Prairie View will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lebo (Lebo, KS).
