In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Louisa-Muscatine Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Lone Tree Lions.

The Falcons (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Columbus lost by Wapello (Wapello, IA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Lone Tree will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA).
