The Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO) volleyball knocked off the host Mesa Ridge Grizzlies (Colorado Springs, CO), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Scorpions now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Elizabeth for a 4A/3A CSML North bout on Tuesday, September 24. Sand Creek will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Mesa Ridge drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 24.
