Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) and the host Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD), observed Smithsburg's volleyball team top Middletown by a count of 3-0.

The Leopards (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Warriors enter the MVAL - Antietam contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Boonsboro notched a victory over Walkersville (Walkersville, MD), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Middletown will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
