The Pavilion Golden Gophers edged the host Wayland-Cohocton Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Golden Gophers confront the Rochester Academy Racers (Rochester, NY) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 20. Pavilion will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Racers go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Rochester Prep (Rochester, NY).
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record.
