Florida High School Volleyball - Pompano Beach over Taravella

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes (Pompano Beach, FL) and the visiting Taravella Trojans (Coral Springs, FL), observed Pompano Beach's volleyball team top Taravella by a count of 3-0.

The Golden Tornadoes (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mater Lakes Academy (Miami, FL). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Mater Lakes Academy was knocked off by Sagemont (Weston, FL), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Trojans meet the Coconut Creek Cougars (Coconut Creek, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Taravella will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 1-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Everglades (Miramar, FL).
