The Falcons (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Hawks come into the A District 1 test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was routed by Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA), 27-15, in a league test.

With the defeat, Akron-Westfield drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Westerners travel to IKM/Manning (Manning, IA) to meet the Wolves in a A District 8 test on Friday, September 26. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 2-2. IKM/Manning lost 21-14 in their recent league test against Woodbury Central (Moville, IA)
