California High School Football - Alameda defeats Mt. Diablo

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Alameda Hornets football squad scored a nice 45-21 win over the Mt. Diablo Red Devils.

With the win, Alameda advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Newark Memorial (Newark, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Newark Memorial lost 28-21 in their recent non-league match against James Logan (Union City, CA)

Coming up next, the Red Devils confront the Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 26. Mt. Diablo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Dons come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 42-7 non-league win over College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA).
