The Lackawanna Steelers walloped the host Albion Purple Eagles football team by a score of 38-0 in Friday's league test.

The Steelers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Iroquois for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Lackawanna will meet a Redhawks squad coming off a 48-14 non-league win over Dunkirk (Dunkirk, NY). The Redhawks record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Albion drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Purple eagles host Olean (Olean, NY) to meet the Huskies in a Section 6 B - 3 test on Friday, September 26. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 1-2. Olean lost 28-26 in their recent league challenge against Depew (Depew, NY)
