The St. Patrick's Irish football squad scored 44 points and limited the host Alma Cardinals to 8 in the Irish league triumph on Friday.

The Irish now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] for a D1 District 9 (8 Man) game on Friday, September 26. St. Patrick's will face a team coming off a 32-14 league loss to Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE). The record now stands at 1-3.

The Cardinals (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Southern Valley (Oxford, NE). The Eagles enter the D1 District 9 (8 Man) game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Southern Valley was ripped by Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE), 50-26, in a league outing.
