Texas High School Football - Haskell loses to Anson

Anson Tigers (Anson, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX), 26-8 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Anson advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Tigers host Albany (Albany, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Albany lost 15-12 in their recent non-league battle against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX)

The Indians now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Petrolia for a 2A-2 Region II District 6 match on Friday, September 26. Haskell will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 49-0 non-league win over Chico (Chico, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.
