Michigan High School Football - Athens thwarted by Farmington

Farmington Falcons (Farmington, MI) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI), 38-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Farmington advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Seaholm (Birmingham, MI) to play the Maples in a Oakland - Blue battle on Friday, September 26. The Maples go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Seaholm won 24-21 in their recent league battle against Oak Park (Oak Park, MI)

The Red Hawks now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Farmington for a Oakland - Blue battle on Friday, September 26. Athens will play a Raiders team coming off a 42-7 league win over Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
