The Murdock Blue Devils football squad scored 18 points and held the host Athol Bears to 6 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Southbridge Pioneers (Southbridge, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Murdock will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 34-0 non-league loss to Worcester Tech (Worcester, MA).

The Bears (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Narragansett Regional (Baldwinville, MA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Narragansett Regional lost by Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA), 42-35, in a non-league challenge.
