The Larkin Royals football squad scored 39 points and limited the host Aurora East Tomcats to 34 in the Royals league triumph on Friday.
The Royals now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Streamwood for a UpState 8 - West game on Friday, September 26. Larkin will face a Sabres team coming off a 28-7 league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Sabres record now stands at 1-3.
The Tomcats (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Maroons enter the UpState 8 - West game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Elgin was nipped by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 51-0, in a non-league outing.
