Nebraska High School Football - Wilcox-Hildreth trounces Axtell

September 19, 2025: Axtell, NE 68924

In Friday's league match, the visiting Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons football squad scored a decisive 72-28 triumph over the Axtell Wildcats.

The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE). The Bobcats come into the D2 District 5 (8 Man) battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Blue Hill was ripped by Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE), 40-36, in a league battle.

The Wildcats now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kenesaw for a D2 District 5 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 26. Axtell will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 38-28 league win over Franklin (Franklin, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-3.
