Kentucky High School Football - Ballard tops Fern Creek

The Ballard Bruins football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Fern Creek Tigers to 8 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Boyle County for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. Ballard will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 21-20 non-league win over Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Fern Creek drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Atherton (Louisville, KY) to face the Ravens in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 26. The Ravens go into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Atherton won 28-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Eastern (Louisville, KY)
