Louisiana High School Football - Ben's Ford Christian thwarted by River Oaks

River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Ben's Ford Christian Eagles (Bogalusa, LA), 48-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, River Oaks improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS) to meet the Saints in a non-league match on Friday, September 26. The Saints come into the match with a record of 3-2. Sylva Bay Academy won 54-24 in their recent non-league match against Benton Academy (Benton, MS)

Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors (Picayune, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Ben's Ford Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 32-6 non-league loss to Prentiss Christian (Prentiss, MS).
