Pennsylvania High School Football - Carlisle overwhelmed by Bishop McDevitt

September 19, 2025: Harrisburg, PA 17111

The Bishop McDevitt Crusaders walloped the visiting Carlisle Thundering Herd football team by a score of 49-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge, on Friday, September 26. Bishop McDevitt will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 14-0 league win over Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA).

The Thundering Herd (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA). The Cougars enter the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Harrisburg bounced Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA), 35-14, in a league challenge.
