The Scott Eagles football team (Covington, KY), was crushed 55-22 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY)

The Colonels (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Henry County (New Castle, KY). The Wildcats enter the 3A District 5 contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Henry County was trounced by Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY), 40-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) in a 5A District 5 bout, on Friday, September 26. Scott will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Colonels go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 46-24 non-league win over Henry Clay (Lexington, KY).
