In Friday's league match, the host Scott's Branch Eagles football squad scored a good 26-8 triumph over the Branchville Yellow Jackets.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their match against St. John's (John's Island, SC). The Islanders come into the A Region 5 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, St. John's was dropped by Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC), 46-7, in a non-league battle.
