Alabama High School Football - Brilliant overwhelmed by Pickens County

The Pickens County Tornadoes walloped the visiting Brilliant Tigers football team by a score of 57-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tornadoes face the Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Pickens County will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 56-20 league win over Midfield (Midfield, AL).

With the defeat, Brilliant drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Phillips (Bear Creek, AL) to clash with the Bears in a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Phillips lost 32-19 in their recent league outing against Shoals Christian (Florence, AL)
