The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL), witnessed Brother Rice's football squad knock off Loyola Academy by a tally of 28-6.

The Crusaders (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against St. Patrick (Chicago, IL). The Shamrocks go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, St. Patrick beat DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL), 31-28, in a league bout.

The Ramblers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host DePaul College Prep for a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. Loyola Academy will encounter a Rams team coming off a 31-28 league loss to St. Patrick (Chicago, IL). The Rams record now stands at 1-3.
