The Caldwell County Tigers football squad scored 47 points and limited the visiting Trigg County Wildcats to 22 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Campbell for a 2A District 1 test on Friday, September 26. Caldwell County will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 41-0 league win over Todd County Central (Elkton, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Trigg County drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Crittenden County (Marion, KY) to face the Rockets in a 2A District 1 game on Friday, September 26. The Rockets enter the game with a record of 2-3. Crittenden County lost 42-7 in their recent league game against Mayfield (Mayfield, KY)
