North Carolina High School Football - Carson tops Salisbury

September 19, 2025: Salisbury, NC 28144

The Carson Cougars football squad scored 41 points and limited the host Salisbury Hornets to 20 in the Cougars league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Cougars face the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a South Piedmont 4A/5A challenge, on Friday, September 26. Carson will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 32-19 league loss to Concord (Concord, NC).

The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs go into the South Piedmont 4A/5A challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Jay M. Robinson toppled East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 63-7, in a league challenge.
