California High School Football - Carter sneaks past Linfield Christian

September 19, 2025: Rialto, CA 92377

The Carter Lions football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Linfield Christian Lions to 33 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Lions face the Notre Dame Titans (Riverside, CA) in a Skyline challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Carter will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 69-6 non-league loss to Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA).

The Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Maranatha (Pasadena, CA). The Minutemen come into the Mesquite test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Maranatha was nipped by La Canada (La Canada, CA), 42-13, in a non-league test.
