The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) and the visiting Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA), witnessed Cascade's football squad wallop Lisbon by a count of 42-0.
The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The Rebels enter the 1A District 5 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Northeast was crushed by Camanche (Camanche, IA), 41-13, in a league battle.
The Lions now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to MFL MarMac for a 1A District 5 battle on Friday, September 26. Lisbon will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 28-14 league loss to Beckman (Dyersville, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
