The Chesapeake Cougars football squad scored 34 points and limited the host First State Military Academy Bulldogs to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Patterson Mill Huskies (Bel Air, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Chesapeake will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Huskies go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 22-15 league loss to Fallston (Fallston, MD).
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Panthers go into the 2A District 2 test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Polytech triumphed over Dickinson (Wilmington, DE), 39-6, in a non-league test.
