 The Cooper City Cowboys football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars to 13 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cowboys now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Lauderdale for a non-league game on Thursday, September 25. Cooper City will face a Flying L's team coming off a 54-0 league loss to Monarch (Coconut Creek, FL). The Flying L's record now stands at 1-4.
The Jaguars (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Miramar (Miramar, FL). The Patriots enter the 5A District 16 game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Miramar fell by Dillard (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 21-17, in a non-league game.
