Indiana High School Football - Covington nudges South Vermillion

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) and the visiting South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN), witnessed Covington's football squad edge South Vermillion by a tally of 30-25.
The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN). The Wolves enter the Wabash River contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Parke Heritage was nudged by Seeger (West Lebanon, IN), 42-2, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) in a Wabash River bout, on Friday, September 26. South Vermillion will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 49-3 league win over North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN).
